	WORLD IMAGE COLLECTION Our archives contain well over 250,000 images covering 160 countries on all continents. We feature a wide range of subject matter and motifs. This website currently features selected samples of the photographs in our library. Soon we will be able to add search capabilities that will allow you to realize specific searches.
	ARCHAEOLOGY PHOTOS Organized largely by continent, region, civilization or culture and site, the photographs and the accompanying captions detail the site, structures, and cultures represented there. Some featured sites like the Pyramids of Giza are well-known, but others are more obscure, such as the Buddhist Vihara in Paharpur, Bangladesh.
	ART HISTORY PHOTOS Our Art History Visual Library contains over 100,000 photographs of major works of architecture, sculpture and paintings from the Neolithic to the various expressions of Modern Art. We also feature quite an impressive number of images of Asian Art, Pre-Columbian Art and Latin American Art. The collection is organized by historical periods & geographical regions.
	PEOPLE OF THE WORLD PHOTOS Our collection of photos of people from all over the world contains over 55,000 images. Here educators and image researchers will find a good selection of candid shots of a huge diversity of nationalities, peoples and ethnic groups.
	RELIGION & SPIRITUALITY PHOTOS Our collection of photos of the religions and spirituality from around the world is organized by religion. The photographs illustrate holy sites, places of worship and rituals of each creed represented. Some featured religions like Islam and Christianity are well-known, but others are more obscure, such as the animist beliefs of the Aboriginal people of Australia or the rituals of the Kalash people in Pakistan.
	UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITES The World Heritage List includes 878 properties forming part of the cultural and natural heritage which the World Heritage Committee of UNESCO considers as having outstanding universal value. We feature over 70,000 photographs of World Heritage Sites on all continents, organized by country and site location.
	IN THE NEWS This section of our website features images from our collection relating to current events. With these images you will be able to get more background information on recent news items reported by newspapers, television, radio and the Internet.
